L\u00e4ngs den vackra kusten i norra Nordirland finns inslag av basaltpelare som har sitt mest imponerande utseende vid udden som kallas Giant\u00b4s causeway. De fem och sexkantiga pelarna har platta ytor i olika niv\u00e5er och skapar trappstegsformationer. \u00c4ven i bergbranterna innanf\u00f6r udden kan man se st\u00e5ende pelare i bergv\u00e4ggen. Intill kustklipporna finns ett nytt stort informationscenter med bra information om kustens geologi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ekid.se\/?attachment_id=9199\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9199\"><img
