Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden har anor fr\u00e5n romersk tid d\u00e5 Tivoli var en popul\u00e4r sommarvistelse f\u00f6r roms v\u00e4lbest\u00e4llda. Den anl\u00e4ggning vi kan se idag skapades fr\u00e4mst p\u00e5 1500-talet och har sedan blivit kompletterad under \u00e5rhundradena. Den st\u00e5tliga villan n\u00e5r man fr\u00e5n ett litet torg i de smala vindlande gatorna i gamla stan. Genom en port kommer man in p\u00e5 en kringbygd g\u00e5rd och f\u00f6rst n\u00e4r man tittar ut genom f\u00f6nstren p\u00e5 huvudbyggnaden i v\u00e4ster inser man hur h\u00f6gt upp man befinner sig. En fantastisk utsikt erbjuds mellan tr\u00e4den i parken utanf\u00f6r. Parken sluttar mycket brant i terasser ner till en plan yta och \u00e4r uppv\u00e4xt med m\u00e5nga gamla tr\u00e4d som skapar en lummig milj\u00f6. Parkrummen \u00e4r inramade av strikta buxbomsh\u00e4ckar i barockens formspr\u00e5k. Det genomg\u00e5ende temat i tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden \u00e4r vatten och \u00e4r bjuds p\u00e5 ett \u00f6verv\u00e4ldigande formspr\u00e5k med font\u00e4ner, vattenfall och vattenskulpturer.
