Som vanligt blev det b\u00e5tresa f\u00f6r att komma \u00f6ver \u00f6stersj\u00f6n men sedan hyrde jag bil f\u00f6r att komma till nationalparkerna. Bialowieza \u00e4r europas st\u00f6rsta l\u00e5glandsurskog och har en unik m\u00e5ngfald av arter knutna till gammal skog. Skogen best\u00e5r av flera olika skogstyper men best\u00e5r fr\u00e4mst av blandskog d\u00e4r ek, lind och avenbok dominerar p\u00e5 rikare marker, al och bj\u00f6rk p\u00e5 fuktigare samt tall och gran i de norra mer magra delarna. Halva skogen ligger i Vitryssland och \u00e4r sv\u00e5r att bes\u00f6ka. Den polska nationalparken \u00e4r p\u00e5 ca 1000 kvadratkilometer och f\u00e5r inte bes\u00f6kas utan guide. I Bialowieza blev jag guidad av naturfotografen Marek en morgon och vi fick bland annat se vitryggig hackspett vid bo, mellanspett, spillkr\u00e5ka och st\u00f6rre hackspet, mindre skrik\u00f6rn, halsbandsflugsnappare m.m. Passade \u00e4ven p\u00e5 att bes\u00f6ka informationscentret\/museet som hade en mycket p\u00e5kostad och fin utst\u00e4llning med milj\u00f6er och ekologi fr\u00e5n parken. Efter bes\u00f6ket i Bialowieza fortsatta jag till nationalparken Biebrza som \u00e4r ett stort v\u00e5tmarksomr\u00e5de kring floden med samma namn. Nationalparken \u00e4r ca 10 mil l\u00e5ng och n\u00e5gon till n\u00e5gra mil bred. H\u00e4r finns fr\u00e4mst stora \u00f6ppna vass- och starrf\u00e4lt avbrutna av sumpskogar och buskmarker. Ett antal f\u00e5geltorn och str\u00f6vstigar har iordningsts\u00e4llts och det finns ocks\u00e5 m\u00f6jlighet att hyra kanot eller kajak och uppt\u00e4cka omr\u00e5det vattenv\u00e4gen. F\u00e5gelrikedomen \u00e4r stor med m\u00e5nga s\u00e4llsynta arter. En fin eftermiddag\/kv\u00e4ll samt morgon\/f\u00f6rmiddag hade jag i omr\u00e5det. V\u00e4dret var str\u00e5lande b\u00e5da dagarna. Resan i Polen avslutades i Elblag och landskapsparken p\u00e5 h\u00f6gplat\u00e5n norr om staden. Lunds kommun \u00e4r en av parterna i EU-projektet LIFEscape som landskapsparken \u00e4r leadpartner f\u00f6r.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6181\"
