Omr\u00e5det best\u00e5r av f\u00e4ladsmarker med spridda enbuskar och varierande fuktighet med k\u00e4rr i svackorna och torrbackar p\u00e5 h\u00f6jderna. Floran \u00e4r typisk f\u00f6r de magra naturbetesmarkerna p\u00e5 Romele\u00e5sen med arter som backtimjan, gr\u00e5fibbla, vitsippa, ljung, stagg, g\u00f6k\u00e4rt, gulm\u00e5ra med mera. Omr\u00e5det \u00e4r ett n\u00e4rstr\u00f6vomr\u00e5de f\u00f6r Dalbyborna och ing\u00e5r i ett st\u00f6rre omr\u00e5de med m\u00e5nga naturbetesmarker som tillsammans bildar en rest fr\u00e5n den
