Dammarna har skapats genom lert\u00e4kt och ligger endast n\u00e5got 10-tal meter fr\u00e5n stranden i Lomma. H\u00e4r rastar framf\u00f6r allt m\u00e5nga sj\u00f6f\u00e5gelarter som f\u00e5r en vindskyddad milj\u00f6 bakom stranddynerna.
