Omr\u00e5det \u00e4r 116 hektar stort och best\u00e5r av bokskog varav en stor andel \u00e4r flerstammig och krattlik. Onslunda sten ligger nord\u00f6st om byn Onslunda och utg\u00f6r utmark till byn med ett stort antal fastighetsremsor i omr\u00e5det. Den varierade skogen har stora biologiska och kulturhistoriska v\u00e4rden.
