Det \u00e4r ett av japans mest k\u00e4nda onsen och har den st\u00f6rsta\u00a0vattenm\u00e4ngden av naturligt upphettat vatten i landet. P\u00e5 det centrala\u00a0&#8221;torget&#8221; kyls det heta k\u00e4llvattnet till behaglig badtemperatur. H\u00e4r finns ett otal onsenanl\u00e4ggningar med b\u00e5de h\u00f6ga komplex och mindre traditionella anl\u00e4ggningar. Det finns tre st\u00f6rre\u00a0offentliga bad som man kan k\u00f6pa gemensam biljett\u00a0till f\u00f6r reducerat pris.\u00a0I norra delen ligger ett stort utomhusbad som \u00e4r v\u00e4rt att bes\u00f6ka.
