Skogen \u00e4r av lagertyp och liknar skogar i s\u00f6dra Kina samt p\u00e5minner om lagerskogarna p\u00e5 kanarie\u00f6arna och de vintergr\u00f6na skogarna kring medelhavet. H\u00e4r \u00e4r dock nederb\u00f6rden h\u00f6g p\u00e5 sommaren liksom p\u00e5 kanarie\u00f6arna. Det \u00e4r kuperade bergsomr\u00e5den som gjort att skogen inte huggits ned eller omvandlats till planteringar. M\u00e5nga olika tr\u00e4darter bildar stommen i skogen som \u00e4ven inneh\u00e5ller vinterf\u00e4llande l\u00f6vtr\u00e4d. Det \u00e4r en mosaik av gr\u00f6na f\u00e4rger p\u00e5 v\u00e5ren n\u00e4r tr\u00e4den blommar eller f\u00e5r nya blad. Den centrala delen av skogen f\u00e5r man inte bes\u00f6ka men i kantzonerna finns leder som man kan anv\u00e4nda.<\/p>\n<p><a
