Det \u00e4r ett fint exempel p\u00e5 zenbuddistisk tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdskonst med stentr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdar och sparsamt med buskar och tr\u00e4d men mycket mossa. Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden skall betraktas fr\u00e5n byggnaderna och terasserna samt de takkl\u00e4dda korridorerna mellan byggnaderna. Huvudtr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden \u00e4r en s\u00e5 kallad &#8221;l\u00e5nat landskap&#8221; med samband mellan omgivande berg och tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdens formationer. Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden kallades f\u00f6rr Toranokowatashi (ung tiger korsar vattnet) efter formerna p\u00e5 stenarna i tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden.
