Jag bodde p\u00e5 vandrarhemmet i Gysinge som ligger i \u00f6stra delen av nationalparken p\u00e5 gr\u00e4nsen mellan Uppland och G\u00e4strikland, i Sandvikens kommun men n\u00e4ra b\u00e5de Uppsala och G\u00e4vle kommuner. F\u00f6rsta dagen satt jag i \u00f6rng\u00f6msle men fick en eftermiddag och hela andra dagen f\u00f6r att vandra p\u00e5 lederna s\u00f6der om Gysinge, bland annat l\u00e4ngs gamla j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsbanken och broarna \u00f6ver Dal\u00e4lven, runt Gran\u00f6n och runt Matt\u00f6n i Dal\u00e4lven. Jag fick trevligt s\u00e4llskap av Anders fr\u00e5n Uppsala p\u00e5 vandringarna. Vi letade utter, b\u00e4ver, vitryggig hackspett och andra trevliga bekantskaper men tyv\u00e4rr utan resultat. Vi fick dock se str\u00f6mstare, havs\u00f6rn, knipor, s\u00e5ngsvan, korp och m\u00e5nga sp\u00e5r av b\u00e4vrar. P\u00e5 kv\u00e4llen andra dagen hade jag bokat plats p\u00e5 uggleexkursion med Stig Holmgren som ordnades via naturum. Jag fick skjuts av Stig fr\u00e5n Gysinge till samlingsplatsen och vidare under exkursionen och tillbaka till vandrarhemmet. Vi var ett 15-tal deltagare som stannade p\u00e5 tv\u00e5 st\u00e4llen d\u00e4r slagugglan h\u00f6rts de senaste veckan men tyv\u00e4rr var det tyst ikv\u00e4ll. V\u00e4dret var annars bra med svag vind och mulet. Stig \u00e4r en av initiativtagarna till nationalparken och b\u00f6rjade arbeta f\u00f6r att skydda omr\u00e5det redan p\u00e5 1970-talet. Han \u00e4r nu 81 \u00e5r gammal men full av energi och intensivt program. Det var han som ordnade bokningarna f\u00f6r \u00f6rng\u00f6mslet. Vi hade en hel del gemensamt att prata om under bilf\u00e4rden som bokproduktion, resor och gemensamma bekanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
