F\u00e5glarna \u00f6vervintrar i omr\u00e5det vintertid och s\u00f6ker sig till de tre utfodringsplatser som iordningst\u00e4llts. H\u00e4r \u00e4r det l\u00e4tt att fotografera f\u00e5glarna och vid utfodringar med fisk\u00a0kommer \u00e4ven \u00f6rnar och ibland r\u00e4v fram. \u00c4ven s\u00e5ngsvan och sikahjortar s\u00f6ker sig till utfodringsplanterna. Den st\u00f6rsta i \u00f6stra delen har ofta n\u00e4rmare 100 fotografer samlade samtidigt med l\u00e5nga telen vid utfodringen p\u00e5 eftermiddagen.
